当講座では,common medical problemの研究,各種診断法における感度,特異度の検討,身体所見の妥当性の評価,費用効果分析,医療認知心理学の研究,健康と疾病に対する文化社会的反応や医療と社会文化的側面に関する研究,医師患者関係,受療行動,患者の解釈モデル,コンプライアンスに関する研究等を行う。 1999年においては,当教室赴任前の京都大学で行った研究を引き継いで,臨床疫学、統計学の知識を用いて、common diseaseの臨床研究を続けている(これまでは,糖尿病におけるROCカー・・・
