Overview：
MethDB is a database providing a resource to store DNA methylation data and to make these data readily available to the public. It contains information about the occurrence of methylated cytosines in the DNA and as much background information which includes the origin of the sample, phenotype, expression of the related gene, etc.. Analysis tools are not included, but external tools are available and users are invited to develop further software for the analysis of methylation patterns.
