ELKUType is a database of information on type specimens preserved in the Entomological Laboratory, Kyushu University (ELKU). ELKUType is based on the holotypes, which are used in the original description for establishment of a new taxon. Each record consists of 17 items including a image of the holotype, scientific names (family, genus and species), the Japanese name and distribution data. Users can search records by keywords from these items.
