Overview：
dbQSNP is a database of SNPs to help users characterize regulatory mechanisms of genes with medical importance. The database collects and presents experimental data of SNP sequences and allele frequencies in the promoter regions by SSCP analysis. dbQSNP records can be easily searched by a BLAST-search against STS sequences found in the database or by keyword or chromosomal location.
