抄録/ポイント： ケラチンは,その固有の生物活性,生体適合性および物理的性質のために創傷治癒のための非常に魅力的である。しかし,ほぼすべての創傷治癒研究は,ヒト毛髪ケラチンに焦点を当てており,羽毛ケラチンのwound-repair効果とin vivoでの生体適合性は明らかではない。羽毛ケラチンをニワトリの羽毛,家禽産業における主要な廃棄物であると考えられるから導出し,羽毛ケラチンの品質はヒト毛髪パーマおよび着色染色によるヒト毛髪ケラチンのそれよりも制御が容易である。ニワトリ羽毛からのケラチンを抽出し,羽毛ケラチンヒドロゲルを調製し,in vivo創傷治癒特性と生体適合性を試験するために使用した。結果は羽毛ケラチンはヒト毛髪ケラチンのものと類似していた創傷治癒と生分解特性をdisplaidと組織のそれと非常に相性が良く,免疫原性及び全身毒性を欠いていたことを示した。まとめると,これらの結果は羽毛ケラチンヒドロゲルは生物医学的応用,特に効果的な創傷治癒に使用できることを示唆した。Copyright 2017 Elsevier B.V., Amsterdam.
