・「山岳での雲の中のエアロゾル観測」では,雲に取り込まれた粒子の性質や雲過程による変化を調査し,観測結果から,雲上部では硫酸塩が多く付加されることを提示。
・「排出源から遠隔地にわたるスス粒子の実態調査」では,ススの吸湿性や光学特性の変化を研究。
・観測結果から,スス含有粒子は水溶性物質と共存しており,光吸収性が高まることを明確化。
