抄録/ポイント： 本稿では,かんらん岩の岩石構造について解説し,次にかんらん岩の岩石構造と地震波速度,とくにP波速度の方位異方性との関係に対する新しい見方を提案した。すなわち,かんらん石ファブリックの新しい表記法としてVpフリン図を紹介した。Vpフリン図の利点は,面構造と線構造の同定が困難な岩石であってもかんらん石ファブリックからP波速度の3次元的異方性を計算すればおおよその性質を明らかにできることである。Vpフリン図では面構造と線構造が明確に同定されていれば,かんらん石のファブリックタイプの性質をほぼ完全に記述できる。
