抄録/ポイント： 屎尿浄化槽排水における水質保全を図るべく,排水BOD基準が法規制されている。浄化槽排水に係るBOD測定は通例消毒前に行われているが,ここでは塩素処理前後における水質変動について実稼動の浄化槽を対象に検討を行った。関東圏の戸建住宅に設置された小型浄化槽において排水試料を採取して調査を行った。その結果,BOD基準値への適合率が消毒前で79%,後では92%であることが判明した。消毒後の水質管理を行うことにより下水道と同等の処理性能を維持できることが明らかになった。
