抄録/ポイント： タイ,バンコクで開催された,標記国際学術討論会(GREAT2008)の講演内容と,巡検で訪問した鉱山の情報を概説した。タイおよびマレー半島を中心とする地域の,すず花こう岩鉱床,ミャンマーの銅鉱床,およびラオスの銅-金鉱床に関する講演がされた。巡検では,タイ最大の金鉱床であるChatree鉱床,およびミャンマー国境のPadang亜鉛鉱床を訪問した。
