抄録/ポイント： この論文は,工作機械上の工具の逃げのレーザーを用いる修正のための新しい方法を提案する。機械のスピンドルに取り付けられた工具の柄の部分がレーザービームで照射される。レーザー照射に起因する熱応力は照射部分に非常に小さな変形を生じる。最初,熱応力に基づく変形パターンを示す。次に,変形に及ぼすレーザー照射条件の影響を調べるために実験を行った。最後に,いくつかのケーススタディを研削工具を用いて実施し,工具逃げをミクロン以下に低減することに成功した。(翻訳著者抄録)
