抄録/ポイント： 持続可能な都市とは通勤地へのトリップ長(及びそれらのエコロジカル・フットプリントのため)が安定しているか減少することである。居住地と通勤地の場所のコントロールは2種の適切な政策手段である。勤務地へのトリップ長は都市の構造と交通行動に依存するので,最適職住割当問題に基づく数学モデルが異なる政策シナリオを試験するのに提案された。本モデルは行動に関する地域の交通プリファレンス関数に基づいている。プリファレンス関数は北海道の主要な4都市内の通勤データを用いて二次方程式に変換された。最適モデルが適用され,居住地と勤務地への異なる仮定の地域分布から平均のトリップ長を推定した。(翻訳著者抄録)
