抄録/ポイント： これまでの聴覚研究は,おもに20歳前後の若齢者を対象に行われるのが,一般的であった。しかし,高齢化が進む日本にあっては,多くの人は教科書的なデータとは異なる聴覚特性を持って音を聴き,生活を送っている。そこで,本稿では,高齢者に対する騒音問題および快適設計について論じる。聴覚特性に対する加齢変化と個人差,高齢者対応製品の快音設計,高齢者に対する音質評価指標,聴覚以外の要因について,解説を行う。
