抄録/ポイント： 岩手県舛沢地層の中-鮮新世淡水堆積物からの珪藻類新種のTertiariopsis costatusについて記載した。外套膜上のシングルrimoportula,3つのサテライト細孔の付いた外套膜fultoportulae及びマージナルラミナで被覆された外套膜のfultoportulaeとrimoportulaなど,Tertiariopsis属に特有の分類学的特徴を多く示したが,valve rimと外套膜fultoportulae間の内部外套膜上に薄いcostaeの特徴があった。さらにこれらの薄いcostaeの1つの末端にシングルrimoportulaが見られるのが普通であった。(翻訳著者抄録)
