抄録/ポイント： 噴火現象の多様性およびマグマの特徴(爆発的噴火と非爆発的噴火,ハワイ式,ストロンボリ式,ブルカノ式,プリニー式,ウルトラプリニー式)を概観した。多様な火山で生み出された火山砕屑物の特徴とその解析の意義について述べた。試料採取して噴火噴出物を連続的に解析するための課題を述べた。
