抄録/ポイント： 熱ショック転写因子4(HEAT SHOCK TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR 4, HSF4)は熱ショック転写因子HSFファミリーメンバーである。近年、HSF4は熱ショックタンパク質(HEAT SHOCK PROTEIN,HSP)の発現を調節する機能を発揮する以外に、直接或いは間接的に多くの非熱ショック遺伝子の発現を調節し、細胞の生長発育9つの種のHSF4タンパク質配列に対して、多重配列比較、進化痕跡分析とタンパク質特定機能領域分析を行い、2つの保存領域を発見した。一つは75~119の保存領域で、その一部は文献の報告されたHSFファミリーのDNA結合領域に位置し、この領域はハンマリングオン構造を呈し、中部に親水性アミノ酸があり、この首輪構造がDNAもう一つの保存領域は176~230で,ランダムコイル(COIL)構造を示し,HSF4とDNA認識,結合,固定機能に関連している可能性がある。HSF4のバイオインフォマティクス解析は,その機能研究のための理論的基礎を提供する。Data from the ScienceChina, LCAS.
