抄録/ポイント： ソフトウェア欠陥予測においてクラス不均衡は研究者の注目を集めている。欠陥予測モデルの実際的性能は,クラス不均衡問題の影響を受ける可能性がある。本論文では,不均衡データ集合における欠陥予測モデルの性能安定性を評価する手法について報告した。第一に,元の不均衡データ集合を異なるレベルの不均衡比をもつ新しいデータ集合に変換するためランダムサンプリングを適用した。第二に,代表的予測モデルを選択してこれらの新たに構築したデータ集合についての予測を行い,変動係数(C・V)を使用して異なるモデルの性能安定性を評価した。最後に,ソフトウェア欠陥予測に広く用いられている六つの予測モデルの性能安定性を評価するため実証法を設計した。それら結果は,不均衡データ集合でC4.5の性能が不安定であり,Naive Bayesおよびランダムフォレストの性能が他のモデルよりも安定であることを示した。(翻訳著者抄録)
