抄録/ポイント： 内陸部アーカンサス州北西部に分布する暗灰色頁岩からのChesterian期後期(=Serpukhovian期;初期石炭紀後期)のオーム貝類4種を記載した。それらはtainoceratid類のTylonautilus gratiosus (Girty),そしてliroceratid類の3種,Bistriates biconstatus (Gordon),Condraoceras? sp.及び新種のPeripteroceras kummeliである。新種とその類縁種との識別点は,比較的高い殻幅/殻高比を持つ潰れた腎臓形の巻殻,縁辺部が大きな角度で収束,そして連室細管の中心から腹側へのずれである。(翻訳著者抄録)
