抄録/ポイント： ヒゲガビチョウは四国南西部で定着,繁殖が確認されている外来種であるが,今回初めて香川県で5羽捕獲された。捕獲後,形態観察,外部形態の測定,写真撮影を行い,放鳥した。頭頂はくすんだ暗い灰色から茶褐色がかった灰色,眉斑と耳羽は栗色または黄味がかった茶色,眼後方の過眼線は無いか細い黒線だったことから,これらの五羽は本来中国中央部および南部発祥の亜種ヒガシヒゲガビチョウと考えられた。
