・ウガンダ南西部Nkoreのバナナの栽培体系,品種,用途および拡販に関する調査。
・Nkoreではウシを飼わない農家が増加し,牛糞の代わりに灰分や残飯で堆肥を作り,また土地不足,病害虫によるバナナ収量の減少が問題化。
・料理用品種AAA-EAが肥沃地帯で入念に栽培されており,バナナ市場の進歩にかかわらず品種構成は以前と同様。
・Nkoreはバナナ栽培歴が短く,用途は料理が主体だが,栽培体系の類似するGandaは祭礼等にも使用。
・Nkoreの生存および食習慣に及ぼす主食の急速な商業化の影響,土地不足,病害虫等に対する農業戦略の明確化が必要。
