抄録/ポイント： 本研究では,インドネシアにおける森林保全効果について,地域住民への対応の違いなどガバナンスの異なる2国立公園で比較した。森林への大規模な違法侵入が見られるブキット・バリサン・スラタン国立公園では,原生林を含む森林減少率の著しい増加がみられ,原生林はコーヒー・プランテーションに転換された。一方,住民との協働管理が行われているグヌン・ハリムン・サラック国立公園では,森林減少率は小さく,ガバナンスの違いによる森林保全効果が明らかになった。また両公園とも,核心的な保護ゾーンでは,原生林の減少は小さく,ゾーニング効果も認められた。(著者抄録)
