抄録/ポイント： 高分岐性顔面型を有するクラスII不正咬合患者は,短い下顎体長と前部開放咬合により特徴づけられる。したがって,高分岐骨格クラスII不正咬合に対する治療は,下顎体長の延長と下顎骨の反時計回り回転である。術後再発を予防するため,ボツリヌス毒素A(BTX-A)注射は保持様式である。クラスIIのオープンバイト患者は,術後再発の予防のために,患者の二腹筋の前腹にBTX-A注射を受けた。再発は,術後歯科矯正治療の完了後,臨床検査と側頭部X線像により評価した。患者は術後15か月で再発の徴候なく安定した閉塞を示した。この症例提示では,二腹筋の前腹への単一注入が術後開放咬合の予防に十分であった。Please refer to the publisher for the copyright holders.
