  • フランス近世哲学史に関しては、デカルト哲学を中心に研究を進めており、テキスト・クリティークといった基礎的文献研究とともに、現在、従来あまり研究されることのなかったオランダにおける神学論争を中心に、近世初頭における哲学と神学の関係の解明を進めている。また、生命倫理学については、アメリカのバイオエシックスの成立過程を歴史的にたどることによって、基本的な倫理学的観点の整理とその問題点を包括的に論じる論考を準備している。
