放射性廃棄物を密封して地層処分するための放射性廃棄物処分容器であって、
金属製容器と、
前記金属製容器の少なくとも外表面に形成された、チタンまたはチタン合金層、チタン酸化物層、およびチタン水素化物層からなる腐食防止層と、を有して構成されていることを特徴とする放射性廃棄物処分容器。
