【要約】【目的】 本発明は、熱間鍛造のままでも極めて高い靱性を有する鋼、高靱性熱間鍛造用非調質鋼を提供するものである。【構成】 重量%にてC:0.15〜0.60%、Si:0.1〜3.0%、Mn:0.5〜2.0%、Cr:1.0%以下、V:0.03〜0.30%、S:0.02〜0.10%、N:0.003〜0.020%、Al:0.01〜0.10%を基本成分とする高靱性熱間鍛造用非調質鋼において、MgをT.Mgとして0.0007〜0.0280%含有させる。【効果】 本発明鋼は、微細化した酸化物にMnSが微細分散し、さらにMnSに窒化物が付着することで結晶粒が微細化する。これにより熱間鍛造のままで極めて高い靱性を有する機械構造用部品が得られる。
