複数の情報処理装置と周辺機器との間に接続されるKVMスイッチであって、 予めユーザ毎の指紋情報を記憶する記憶手段と、 ユーザの指紋情報を読み取る読取手段と、 前記読取手段に読み取られた指紋情報と前記記憶手段に記憶された指紋情報とが一致する場合に、前記ユーザに当該KVMスイッチの操作を許可する制御手段と を備えていることを特徴とするKVMスイッチ。
