【課題】冷間加工性に優れたGe含有高強度チタン合金の提供。【解決手段】質量%でNb:20〜40%、Ge:0.2〜4.0%を含有し、さらに必要によりMo、Ta、W、V、Cr、Ni、Mn、Co、Fe、Cu、Siの1種以上を合計で15%以下含有し、残部がTiおよび不可避不純物からなる組成とし、Geと添加・含有させたことによって生じる冷間加工性の劣化は、Nbを主とするβ相形成・安定化元素を含有させてβ型チタン合金にすることによって軽減する。【選択図】図1
