内視鏡先端部または内視鏡接眼部近傍の撮像素子と、該撮像素子近傍に配置され、前記撮像素子を動作させるための周辺回路とを具備した内視鏡装置において、前記撮像素子及び前記周辺回路を断熱的に保持する断熱機構を設けたことを特徴とする内視鏡装置。
