【課題】アミノ酸配列 His-Phe を含むジペプチドあるいはトリペプチド(HF)を食品組成物及び医薬組成物として提供する。【解決手段】HFは高い大動脈血管弛緩作用を有する。したがって、医薬組成物は抗高血圧薬として使用することができる。HFは、ACE阻害活性が低く、L-NMMAの存在下でも明らかな血管収縮抑制作用を示す。HFの血管弛緩作用は、血管平滑筋に存在するL型Caチャンネルを介した外部からのCa流入の抑制により発現する。【選択図】図5
