【要約】【課題】 短時間かつ高効率で、試水中に含まれる原虫の捕捉回収を行うための、中空糸膜モジュール及び原虫の捕捉回収方法を提供する。【解決手段】 試水中に含まれる原虫の捕捉回収を行うに際し、最大孔径2.0μm以下の微細孔を有する多孔質中空糸膜が配設された中空糸膜カートリッジに試水を通水し濾過することにより、多孔質中空糸膜の一次側で試水の濃縮を行った後、原虫を含む濃縮水及び/又は多孔質中空糸膜の表面に堆積した原虫を含む濁度成分を回収する。

外筒内部に多孔質中空糸膜の両端が開口してポッティングされ、前記外筒には、多孔質中空糸膜の外表面側に試水を供給する給水口と、多孔質中空糸膜の開口端に連通して透過水を取り出す出水口が配設されたことを特徴とする原虫捕捉用中空糸膜カートリッジ。
