【要約】【目的】 多結晶膜を用いて、単結晶膜と同等に優れた諸特性を有する強誘電体薄膜を作製する。【構成】 LiOC2 H4 OCH3 とNb(OC2 H4 OCH3)5 を原料としてSol-Gel法により塗布液を調製し、これをC面サファイヤ単結晶基板上にスピンコートして、アニールしたのち焼結する。得られたLN膜は高い結晶性を有し、C軸に配向しており、気孔は、径が平均300Åで占有面積は膜全体に対し0.9%、膜の屈折率はno =2.139、ne =2.179である。

基板上に形成された多結晶配向膜であり、膜表面に存在する空孔は、占有面積が多結晶配向膜の全表面積の2.5%以下であることを特徴とする強誘電体薄膜。
