【要約】【構成】 鉄-すず銅系1次焼結体からなるハウジング(2)と、銅系もしくは鉄銅系1次焼結体からなる軸受(1)とを嵌合した後 750〜870 °Cで本焼結することを特徴とする焼結複合軸受の製造方法。【効果】 本発明によれば、回転軸に対して潤滑性能に優れた銅系又は鉄銅系軸受と強度に優れた鉄系ハウジングを強固に一体化できるので軸受の耐久性が向上する等の効果があり、また鉄系ハウジングは強固なカシメ取付けができ、且つ軸受をハウジングに圧入することなしに一体化できるので取付精度が向上し、さらに焼結コストの低減と複合による経済効果も大きい。
