【要約】【課題】 近赤外領域での吸収特性に優れ、かつインキへの馴染みが良好で、薄い印刷層にも対応できる、より微細なYbPO4 粒子からなる赤外線吸収材料の製造方法及び得られる赤外線吸収材料を用いたインキ及び不可視パターンの提供。【解決手段】 YbPO4 を加熱処理し、得られたYbPO4 を界面活性剤の存在下、好ましくは平均粒子径が0.5μm以下になるまで湿式粉砕し、次いで粉砕したYbPO4 をカップリング剤、例えばシランカップリング剤で処理することを特徴とする微細なYbPO4 粒子からなる赤外線吸収材料の製造方法。得られた赤外線吸収材料を含むインキ。得られた赤外線吸収材料を含む不可視パターン。

YbPO4 を加熱処理し、得られたYbPO4 を界面活性剤の存在下湿式粉砕し、次いで粉砕したYbPO4 をカップリング剤で処理することを特徴とする微細なYbPO4 粒子からなる赤外線吸収材料の製造方法。
