圧縮機と、熱交換器と、該圧縮機と熱交換器の運転を制御する制御回路とを具備した空気調和機において、室内の照明の点灯/消灯を光検出手段により検出し、照明の点灯/消灯に連動して自動的に運転の開始/停止を行えるようにしたことを特徴とする空気調和機。
