【課題】天然ゴムベースのゴム製品、特に肉厚ゴム製品の加硫で必要とされる、加硫遅効性と加硫戻り現象の抑制を可能とする加硫促進剤の提供。【解決手段】化1で示される2-メルカプトベンゾチアゾール誘導体を、天然ゴム配合に添加することで、市販のスルフェンアミド系加硫促進剤と同等の加硫遅効性とそれ以上の耐加硫戻り性を示す加硫促進剤として機能することを見出した。
