【要約】【課題】精油原料として森林資源を使用せず、計画生産や管理生産ができ、しかも得られる精油の量産化が可能であり、低労力、低コストで製造できる園芸植物精油を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の園芸植物精油は、クプレックスス(cupresus)属マクロカルパ(macrocarpa)種に属する園芸植物から得られたことを特徴とし、サビネン(sabinene)、4-テルピネオール(4-terpineol)及びシトロネロール(citronellol)を主成分として含有するゴールドクレスト精油であることが好ましく、精油成分中に、サビネン(sabinene)を15〜30重量%、4-テルピネオール(4-terpineol)を10〜25重量%、シトロネロール(citronellol)を5〜10重量%含有するゴールドクレスト精油であることがより好ましい。
