リチウムとニッケルの複合酸化物を主成分として含む正極、リチウムまたはリチウムを可逆的に吸蔵放出することのできる材料を含む負極、および非水電解質を具備し、前記のリチウムとニッケルの複合酸化物が、平均粒径が10μm以下の単結晶粉末であることを特徴とする非水電解質リチウム二次電池。
