【要約】【目的】チタン合金製工具およびその製造方法を提供する。【構成】アルミニウム: 3.0 〜5.0 wt.%、バナジウム: 2.1 〜3.7 wt.%、モリブデン: 0.85 〜3.15wt.%、鉄: 0.85 〜3.15wt.%、酸素: 0.06 〜0.2wt.%、残部チタンおよび不可避的不純物、からなる(α+β)型チタン合金材を、β変態点-200 °Cからβ変態点の範囲内の温度で加熱し、次いで、加熱した合金材を2°C/secから20°C/secの範囲内の冷却速度で 400°C以下の温度まで冷却し、次いで、冷却した合金材に対して、添付図面図1に座標によって示されるように、点A(時効温度400 °C、時効時間12時間) 、点B(400 °C、15分)、点C(650 °C、15分)、点D(650 °C、1 時間)、点E(510 °C、6 時間)、点F(510 °C、12時間)によって囲まれる範囲内の時効処理を施す。
