【要約】【課題】厚みが薄いにも関わらず高温下での剛性が高く、地合いが均一で各種芯材や補強支持体に好適な高剛性不織布およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 繊維径が25ミクロン未満の短繊維Aと繊維径が25〜45ミクロン短繊維Bとを含有する短繊維不織布であって、該不織布の50〜100質量%が融点160〜230°Cの低融点成分を有する熱接着性複合繊維であることを特徴とする高剛性不織布であり、好ましくは前記不織布の横方向の強力が、縦方向の強力の1.3倍以上であることを特徴とする前記の高剛性不織布。

繊維径が25ミクロン未満の短繊維Aと繊維径が25〜45ミクロン短繊維Bとを含有する短繊維不織布であって、該不織布の50〜100質量%が融点160〜230°Cの低融点成分を有する熱接着性複合繊維であることを特徴とする高剛性不織布。
