生体内に挿入される対物光学系と、この対物光学系により結像された像を撮影して画像信号を出力する撮像手段とを備えた内視鏡において、前記撮像手段による撮像範囲の中で、予め定められた所定範囲についての前記画像信号に対して像回復処理を施す画像処理手段が設けられたことを特徴とする内視鏡。
