【要約】【目的】 生ごみ、屑紙、多細胞藻体等の繊維性固形廃棄物を好気発酵するに際して、繊維の団塊化を除き、発酵速度を向上し、迅速にコンポストに転換する。【構成】 繊維性固形廃棄物1を繊維分解酵素を含む酵素生産菌培養物10を接触させ、繊維の剛性を減じることにより団塊化を防止し、均質化して高温発酵区画5、次いで中温発酵区画6で迅速にコンポスト化する。【効果】 団塊を解合均質化することにより、好気性発酵菌との接触効率を向上し、発酵期間を従来の1/2〜1/3に短縮できる。

繊維性固形有機廃棄物の集塊に、水存在下で繊維分解酵素を混合し、繊維分解酵素を繊維性固形有機廃棄物が液化はしないがその剛性を減じる程度にまで作用させた後、酸素供給下で保温、混合して好気発酵することを特徴とする繊維性固形有機廃棄物のコンポスト化方法。
