【課題】集中制御局が存在せず各通信極が自立分散制御でネットワーキングを実現する。【解決手段】各通信局はビーコン信号を送出し、受信意思表示やオフセット時間情報などを報知する。通信局には、ビーコン位置に続いて送信優先区間が与えられ、この区間を利用してデータ送受信を行なう。新規の通信局がネットワークに参入する際、通信局間のトポロジーや通信局が持つバッファ・サイズ、伝送能力などのアプリケーション情報を考慮することによって、ビーコン送出時刻又はタイミングを決定し、同時に通信局へ割り当てる優先送信時間を可変にする。【選択図】 図19

制御局を配置せずに複数の無線通信装置によりアドホック通信に基づくネットワークを形成する無線通信システムであって、 各通信局は、他の通信局から受信したビーコン情報とアプリケーション情報に基づいてビーコン送信位置を決定して、所定のフレーム周期でビーコンを送出する、 ことを特徴とする無線通信システム。
