【要約】【課題】 従来の金属線発熱体は、固有抵抗が小さく、調理機器用あるいは暖房器用に必要な発熱量を得るためには大型とする必要がある、また炭素材料を発熱体として使用しているものは、結果的に材料ロスが多くなったり、製造に時間がかかったりするという課題を有している。【解決手段】 炭素系物質で構成した発熱部2を複数本透明管1に挿入するようにして、1本当たりの電力量を少なくして、導体径を太く設定でき、発熱体の発熱温度を焼成温度よりも低くでき、電気暖房機器、電気調理器、家庭用赤外線治療器具、電子複写機、プリンターの定着器や、電気保温および加熱機器の熱源に好適な発熱体としている。
