【要約】【目的】非ダイヤモンド質を含まず、基体への密着性の高いダイヤモンド膜を得る。又、一定の模様等を形成するようにダイヤモンド膜を析出させる。【構成】ダイヤモンド結晶の臨界核径に近い2〜100nmの粒径のダイヤモンド超微粒子を基体表面に付着させた後、これを結晶核として気相合成法で膜状ダイヤモンドを析出させる。又、前記ダイヤモンド超微粒子を基体表面の特定の領域に付着させることにより、生成したダイヤモンド膜が一定の模様等を形成するように設定する。
