一対の電極間に発光層を含む少なくとも一層の有機層を有する有機電界発光素子であって、一対の電極間の少なくとも一層に、3座以上の配位子を有し、かつ配位子が鎖状配位子である金属錯体の少なくとも一種を含有することを特徴とする有機電界発光素子。
