【要約】【課題】植物の抽出物質で酸化されにくく保湿作用並びに、皮膚への親和性があり、しかも、有害な紫外線をカットする、理想的な皮膚保護剤を提供する。【解決手段】鳳仙花(lmpatience balsamina L.)のアルコール抽出液に着目した。鳳仙花アルコール抽出液には、NMF(natural moisturising factor=自然保湿因子)の組成の40%を占めているアミノ酸を含み、クエン酸類まで含有している。また、鳳仙花アルコール抽出液には234nm,248nm,261nm,270nm,325nm付近に最大吸収スペクトルがある事が見出だされたので、この作用に着目した。
