【目的】チャンネルサーチに要する時間を極力少なくしつつ、より最新の受信データを取得することができるディジタル放送受信装置を提供する。【構成】チャンネルサーチの実行時やユーザによる選局実行時に、チャンネルサーチ日時、最終チューニング日時、及び最終受信成功日時を生成してメモリ14に記憶する。CPU14は上記日時に基づいて、▲1▼削除対象チャンネルの再サーチ、▲2▼追加対象チャンネルの再サーチ、▲3▼更新対象チャンネルの再サーチを行う。これらの再サーチの間隔(周期)は互いに異なる。例えば、▲1▼は3日に1回、▲2▼は2日に1回、▲3▼は1日に1回の間隔でサーチを実行する。【選択図】 図1

チャンネル毎に提供されているデータをチャンネルサーチの実行により取得するディジタル放送受信装置において、各チャンネルについて最終チューニング日時を記憶する記憶手段と、新たなチャンネルサーチでは前記最終チューニング日時から所定期間経過したチャンネルを選出してチャンネルサーチを行わせる制御手段と、を備えたことを特徴とするディジタル放送受信装置
