駐停車前後の車両状態変化に基づき、盗難を検出する車両用盗難検出装置であって、車両の方位を検出する方位検出手段と、駐停車開始時における方位を記憶する駐停車情報記憶手段と、車両の再始動時に、方位検出手段により検出されるその時の方位と、駐停車情報記憶手段に記憶されている方位を比較する比較手段と、を有し、比較手段の比較結果に基づいて盗難を検出することを特徴とする車両用盗難検出装置。
