Claim (excerpt)：

自車から前方障害物までの距離を検出する距離検出手段と、該距離検出手段で検出された検出距離とあらかじめ設定された第1の警報距離とを比較し、該検出距離が該第1の警報距離以下の場合、第1の警報を発する第1の警報手段を有する車両用警報装置において、運転者が危険回避動作を行ったことを検出する回避動作検出手段と、所定時間該第1の警報が作動しており、且つ、該回避動作を検出した場合は、該第1の警報とは異なる第2の警報を出力させる第2の警報手段を設けたことを特徴とする車両用警報装置。
