第1の貴金属からなるナノコロイド粒子(コア粒子)、及び該コア粒子の外表面に第1の貴金属と別の組成を有する貴金属からなるシェル、から構成されるコアシェル型の貴金属ナノコロイド粒子において、第1の貴金属からなるコア粒子のコロイド粒子径が8nm以下であり、かつ第2の貴金属からなるシェルの厚みが1〜6原子層であることを特徴とするコアシェル型の貴金属ナノコロイド粒子。
