一般式:Ce2xLn2yLu2(1-x-y)SiO5(式中、Lnは、Luを除くランタノイド元素のうちの少なくともいずれか1種の元素であり、2×10-4≦x≦3×10-2、1×10-4≦y≦1×10-3)で表されるセリウム活性化ランタノイドケイ酸塩の単結晶からなることを特徴とするシンチレータ。
